Servant of the Eldrazi

My first deviation (and only a year since I made this account)! Yayz!

I wasn't originally planning on uploading this anywhere, but I decided I really like it and I wanted to hear what people thought.

I mostly made this card because I currently suffer from an obsession with the Eldrazi from Magic: The Gathering, and when I discovered that the good people who make Magic Set Editor had a template that let you make colorless planeswalkers in style of the Eldrazi, I had to make one. For those of you who don't know, the Eldrazi are gigantic beings that used to eat planes thousands of years ago, until three planeswalkers sealed them up in a plane called Zendikar. Now they've been released again and are trying to destroy it.
Originally the card was just a planeswalker that served the Eldrazi and was lurking around out of sight until some poor sap accidentally released them, which I believe is what happened. Then I remembered Nicol Bolas, the ancient planeswalker that lost his powers in the Great Healing, when the time rifts in the multiverse were closed. He's not godlike anymore, and not happy about it. He tried to get his powers back on Alara somehow, but I'm assuming he failed (don't know much about that story). At some point he also discovered the Eldrazi sleeping on Zendikar and sent Sarkhan Vol, another planeswalker that worships him, to keep watch.
I don't know what happened when they awoke, but because Nicol Bolas is rather power-hungry, I decided that he approached the Eldrazi to try to get his power back and struck up a deal with them. Unfortunately for him, the Eldrazi were way more powerful than he thought, and he slowly and unknowingly fell under their thrall.

I purposely made his Loyalty high to reflect the "bigness" of Eldrazi conscription (heh), and I made it 13 so that you can't cast Emrakul for 9 mana without making some spawn first.

The art belongs to Wyrdblood [link]

Nicol Bolas, Magic: The Gathering, and all other related things belong to Wizards of the Coast.

I think you're underestimating the fact that most decks that are playing this type of deck are going to have some serious mana ramp mid game, and you're seriously underestimating the fact that players are going to have much more mana by the time they get this card into play. I wouldn't waste this card and an additional 2 turns to play Emrakul when I can play It That Betrays immediately instead. All in all, this card isn't very practical to use as a planeswalker, as there are cheaper means to generate eldrazi spawn and force opponents to sacrifice permanents. Overall, it's a good fetch/cast, like a green suns zenith for eldrazi except larger the fetch, the greater the reward. But that's about all it's good for, unfortunately. And a broken fetch at that.
